The principal consultant with Stillwater Consulting has been programming on the IBM platform for over twenty years, adapting and enhancing his skills through the various lifecycles of the IBM hardware and software products. We are always looking for and testing new technologies that may benefit our clients. Of the many ERP solutions that are available today, Stillwater Consulting has focused primarily on J.D. Edwards (Oracle), MAPICS, and Construction Management System (CMS) by Computer Guidance Corporation. However, we welcome the opportunity to assist you with the ERP solution that is working for you.

Stan Kastal Jr.

is the President of Stillwater Consulting and the principal consultant. Having spent his entire life in the Baltimore/Washington metro area, Stan is very attuned to the economic, business and technology trends of the region. Stan specializes in enterprise applications with an emphasis on the AS400 platform. Having over 15 years of experience with the hardware and operating system allows Stan incredible insight into where the technology was born and where the future might lead. He is familiar with the majority of AS400-based business environments in the area. Over the course of his career, Stan has serviced over 200 companies. Stillwater Consulting believes in building solid relationships with our clients. One of the best ways of doing that is by performing well and making the client's success our top priority. That is the Stillwater way.

Technical Summary

Stan has ten years of in-depth J.D. Edwards technical experience, including seven implementations for corporations with annual revenue ranging from $70 million to $200+ million. Stan has assisted companies with a variety of ERP solutions, interfaces, add-ons, custom reporting, custom programming and more. He is always looking for new challenges and methods to help his clients succeed. Stan is currently learning the Java programming language and is looking forward to the new functionality he will be able to offer his clients.

Education

Stan received his Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) in 1986 from the University of Maryland.

Training

Stan makes it a priority to stay informed of the latest technology advances in order to keep his technical and business skills at their peak. He regularly attends training seminars and conferences.
